Obituary of ANN STEFANYSHYN

ANN STEFANYSHYN (nee WINTONIAK) It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Ann. Mom passed away at her home on June 3, 2020 at the age of 83. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Tony in 1984. Ann was born in Stryhanci (Western Ukraine) on September 28, 1936. She came to Canada in 1949. Mom worked at Eatons, Gambles and for the Government at the Retail Sales Tax. Mom retired June 2002. Once retired her love was for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her dog Boots. Mom loved when her grandchildren and great grandchildren dropped by to help her out or just to say hi. She would make sure she had chocolate in the closet for them. Her passion was for gardening which she spent hours on end making them look so beautiful. Mom leaves to mourn her daughters, Mary Ann Wasylnuk (Glenn), Helen Barron (Warren) and Joanne Lapointe (Ron). Her grandsons, Jeff (Jacquie), Aaron (Bonnie), Wayne, Michael (Kelley), granddaughter Krystle. Great Grandchildren, Jory, McKenna, Breanna, Avery, Jerzee, Summer, Bodhi, Adrianna, Charlie, Brody, Ava and Leighla. Mom cherished them all dearly. Sister Lilian Tankard (John). Ann was loved and will be missed by family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her mother Olga and father John Wintoniak, her sister Irene Elias (husband Art). Pallbearers were Jeffrey Wasylnuk, Aaron Lapointe, Wayne Wasylnuk, Michael Wasylnuk, Krystle Lapointe, Jory Wasylnuk, McKenna Lapointe. A private service was held at All Saints Cemetery with Rev. Fr.
