Obituary of ANNE VANDAL
ANNE VANDAL
March 6, 1931 – May 21, 2020
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Anne. She is survived by her sister, Violet (Lolly) MacLellan who she always called her baby sister as well as her nephews and nieces: Brent, Lance, Guy, Sharon, Janice and Lisa.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul, sister Rose McKay and nephew Brad.
Anne enjoyed traveling and visiting her family throughout Canada. Her other travels included California, Hawaii, Vegas and Iceland. Although her family was spread across Canada, Anne loved to keep in touch with them through cards, letters and phone calls. Anne also enjoyed spending time with her “found family” in Winnipeg whether it was weekends at the lake with the Pescolvitches or sharing a cup of tea with her neighbor Joanne. She created a lifetime of memories with the Naften, Goska and Arnasen families sharing in all of life’s special moments. Her friendship with Loretta Naften spanned 70 years and was cherished and constant until the very end. Although Anne will be missed, we are comforted to know that she will be reunited with Paul and all those who have gone before.
The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Wildlife Confederation or Canadian Diabetes.
“Til we meet again.”
A Memorial Tree was planted for ANNE
