Obituary of RICHARD BURTON MCKAY

RICHARD BURTON MCKAY We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Richard on April 27, 2020 in Winnipeg at the age of 53. Richard was born October 19, 1966 to Kenneth & Isabella. Richard grew up in the Brooklands area in a house with many siblings. He attended school at Butterworth Elementary, and then Brooklands Jr as well as Stevenson Jr High. Richard loved to draw, he also enjoyed creating mischief along with his brothers; there was never a dull moment in the McKay household. Richard really loved the outdoors, he enjoyed his times snowmobiling on Lake Winnipeg, fishing & camping on the Winnipeg River. Sadly throughout his adult years Richard struggled with depression and addiction. We loved him and we will miss him. He was predeceased by both of his parents. Left to mourn are his siblings, Sandra Towns(Brent), Roxanne(Gordon), Kerry, James, John, Barry, Rachel, Pamela(Rob), Naomi along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
