ELSIE TRYUDA (nee Wozny) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our much loved Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, sister and friend Elsie. She passed away peacefully at the age of 98 years young on April 13, 2020 at Fred Douglas Lodge in Winnipeg. Elsie (Alexandria) was born August 24, 1921 in Oryszhowce, Poland. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Roman her son Ronald Tryuda her brother George Wozny and sister Stella (Lischka) Palagian and followed shortly after her passing her sister-in-law Patricia (Plover) Kibzey. She will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter’s Romaine (Jeff) Rancier and Leanne (Dave) Rancier and her 9 great grandchildren Alexis, Cynthia, Saba, Veronica, Mya, Juliana, Brent, Tal and Jacquelynn. Also survived by daughter-in-law Delma Tryuda and sister-in-law Olga Wozny and family her brother Walter Kibzey and family in Ontario and loving nieces and nephew Sally (Larry) LeSage, Adele (Drew) Trethart, Debbie (Garry) Frankel, Randy (Rina) Lischka and Melody Golub and their families. Elsie always enjoyed being outside and feeding her birds and small critters that would congregate in her yard. She loved the constant company of family and friends after retiring from running a corner store with her husband Roman for many years in Winnipeg. We were blessed on having her come out to Calgary and British Columbia to visit her son and grandchildren. Attending births, graduations and Christmas holidays. She always made it back to Winnipeg in time for New Year Eve celebrations so she could continue her tradition of starting off the new year with speaking to her brothers George and Walter and families in Ontario. The family would sincerely like to thank all the extended family, friends and care givers who have touched her life in such a special way. She will be greatly missed. A private memorial, celebration will take place at a later date.
