KAREN EVA OSTROWSKI
(NEE BALLIET)
January 6, 1957 – April 8, 2020
On April 8, 2020 after a courageous and long battle with cancer with Les at her side, Karen passed away at the age of 63. She was the love of his life and his everything.
Loving wife and mother, sister and grandmother, she was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 6, 1957 to Miriam and Edward Balliet and was married to Les Ostrowski in 1975.
Karen will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Les; her son Andy (Stacey) Ostrowski; by her brothers Ed (Dawn) Balliet, Dave Balliet and her granddaughter Hollie Ostrowski; step grandchildren Richael, Makenzie, Deacon and sister-in-law Anne Kuzminski.
Karen had a vast array of talents; she loved gardening, crocheting and needlework where she created endless beautiful pictures. She loved music and cheering on the Winnipeg Jets. Above everything else Karen loved being with her granddaughter Hollie where they would spend countless hours talking and crafting together.
Les was the love of her life, Andy was her treasure and Hollie was her gift in life. She will always be remembered for her kindness and devout love for her family.
