I was very sad to hear of the passing of Karolyn, unfortunately I was unable to attend her service due to family circumstances.I have not been in touch with Karolyn for almost 30 years but I always was thinking of her during that time. I have two children with Autism and I was explaining to my daughter that while you may not have contact with someone anymore, they can still have a place in your heart forever. I told her all about Karolyn and why I still always think of her. Attending her Grad, her smile that would light up a room, how when I was down, she knew how to pick me up. Some of my best memories included Karolyn, going to movies, parties, Jets games etc. But what makes those memories so special was that Karolyn was part of it. Karolyn is a special friend that helped make me the Dad and husband I am today.
