Obituary of ROBERT FRANK NICKEL

ROBERT FRANK NICKEL August 6, 1956 - December 26, 2019 It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Robert Nickel on December 26, 2019, at the age of 63 years. Rob will be lovingly remembered by his children Karl, Kristin (Matt), Vanessa (Mike), and Jennifer, grandchild Mackenzie, sister Rita (Vince), mother Eleanor, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his father Frank. Rob was very entrepreneurial and he had tremendous passion for canoeing and camping. Rob cherished quality family time, especially with his four children. He was also a man of faith with a strong devotion to his church community. A funeral service for Rob will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Grant Memorial Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rob to Jocelyn House Hospice to whom Rob was so grateful for the exceptional care he received.
