Obituary of JEAN MARTIN

JEAN MARTIN (EUGENIA COTTICK)

Jean Martin (Eugenia Cottick), 90, passed away on November 26, 2019 in Winnipeg.

Jean was born and educated in Dauphin. She was predeceased by her husbands, the late Michael Mazur and James Martin; and her siblings, Peter Cottick, Ann Cottick, John Cottick, Irene Kells, Mary Balfour, and Dr. Al Cottick.

Jean was a real estate agent in Winnipeg for many years. She celebrated her Ukrainian heritage through food; by teaching and encouraging her children and grandchildren to cook traditional dishes.

Left to remember her love and kindness are her son Michael Mazur of Ottawa; her daughter Christine Mazur of Winnipeg; her four grandsons, Mathieu, Dominik, David and Paul Mazur-Goulet of Ottawa; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Nurse Hazel, the staff and her friends on the 6th floor of the Beacon Hill Lodge.

Jean will be sadly missed by those whose life she has touched. A private interment will be held at a later date.
