LANSANA MANSARAY

Peacefully, on November 6, 2019, Lansana Mansaray passed away at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care, at the age of 42 years. 

Lansana originally came from Sierra Leone, where he proudly worked in security for the American embassy. In Winnipeg he worked very hard in various security guard positions.

He will be remembered as an extremely generous and hard working person, who deeply loved his family.

Lansana will be greatly missed by Adama Mansaray and their three children Bakarr, Mariah and Murdy, as well as his parents Lahai Mansaray and Saio Suma, and all his brothers and sisters, here and abroad.

Lansana was a grateful recipient of numerous blood transfusions while courageously fighting a battle with cancer. Those who wish to do so are encouraged to donate blood in his memory. In lieu of flowers and in Lansana’s honour, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation: cancercarefdn.mb.ca.

Funeral Services will be held at Grand Mosque,  2445 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 12:45pm.
