WILLIAM (WASYL) KOTYK

June 26, 1929-October 29, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa and friend.

Bill will be dearly missed by Alice, his loving wife of 67 years, his children Michael (Diana), Terry (Randy Yahiro) and grandchildren Robert (Megan), Jacqueline (Yani), Rik (Linh), Zac (Janell), great grandson Basil, his brother Ted and many more family members and friends. 

He was predeceased by his son Randy, parents Wasylina and Dmetro, sisters Mary, Dora, Lily, Olga, Betty-Ann, and brothers Nick and Nestor.

He was born and raised in Fort Frances, Ontario, moved to Winnipeg at 16, married Alice and raised his family in Brooklands and Transcona.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Cropo Funeral Chapel Transcona, 1800 Day St.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
