October 2, 1925- October 6, 2019

Bernice passed away on October 6, 2019. She is survived by her son Allan in Australia, daughter Bev (Mike), granddaughter Shannon (Bill), siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Bernice spent eight years teaching in rural Manitoba, one year at St. Gerard School, and twenty-seven years with Winnipeg School Division #1. She enjoyed being a Big Sister to Margot and she sponsored a young child in Singapore for many years.

Bernice and Al travelled extensively to every continent except Asia. Then they purchased a home in Scottsdale, Arizona, spending eleven winters golfing and making new friends.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Tuxedo for their compassion and care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
