Obituary of GONERA GLADYS

GLADYS (WLADYSLAWA) GONERA

May 11, 1922 - September 23, 2019

Gladys passed away peacefully at the age of 97. She was predeceased by husband Edward and grandson Raymond. Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is survived by daughter, Halina, granddaughters Kim (Harry) and Michele and great grandsons Colin and Devin.  Mom was born in Poland moved to Manitoba in 1950 with her family. She worked hard, loved gardening and berry picking and was a great cook who over the years enjoyed time with friends and family and most of all Sunday dinners at her place.

The family would like to thank Fred Douglas Personal Care Home, especially Dr. Chung and staff on the Oak Ward for their compassionate and professional care over her short stay.

 A Funeral Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg on Monday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 520 Osborne Street.

She will be dearly missed.
