MARIA DA CONCEIÇÃO GUERREIRO ROSA

August 28, 1936 – September 10, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our dear mother, aunt, grandmother Maria Da Conceição Rosa at the age of 83.

Maria was born in Santa Barbara de Nexe, Algarve Portugal.

Maria was predeceased by her loving husband Jose in December 2012.

She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her sons, Valter, Filipe (Amy) and precious granddaughter Precilla. Also by numerous relatives of Winnipeg and in the Algarve Portugal.

Maria was somewhat soft spoken and humble. Her life was not without difficulty and adversity. In spite of all the challenges, she was devoted to family and managed to be employed many years with Winnipeg Enterprises.

She enjoyed a modest lifestyle, cooking, gardening, family and travelling overseas to the Algarve.

The family thanks the wonderful staff of Misericordia Place Level 3 for the special loving and compassionate care she received.

Viewing and the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.  Interment will follow in Fort Garry Roman Catholic Cemetery, 826 Crescent Drive.

We will hold you in our hearts forever.
