(nee CHARTRAND)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Boyer (nee Chartrand) on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the age of 83 years. 

Denise is survived by her children Rita (Roland), Rolande, Gerald (Steven), and grandsons Michael, Ryan and Derek.  As well as many sisters, brothers, sister-in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Ludovic Chartrand and Maggie Chartrand (nee Devlin).  As well as many sisters, brothers, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Denise was married for many years to Leo Boyer of St. Laurent, MB who passed away on May 11, 2008.  She leaves to mourn many family members from the Boyer family.

Denise was born on February 15, 1936 and grew up most of her life in St. Laurent, MB.  She believed strongly in family values and in respecting one another.  She was very proud of her grandsons.  In the last few years she enjoyed knitting, puzzles and most of all watching hockey.

Mom you did a wonderful job at teaching us what it means to be a family.  We admire that you always had strength and courage to never give up and be there to love and support us.  We will miss you and you will forever be with us.  May you rest in peace in heaven.  We love you lots.

Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held for the family and relatives at Corpo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
