It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Carmine Urciuoli on September 4th, 2019. Carmine passed away peacefully in his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 47 years Maria, children Silvana (Scott), Danny (Ela), Sandra (Kevin). His grandchildren Madison, Jayden, Trey, Kylar, Dylan, Braden, Tyson and Chloe. His siblings Antonio, Antonietta, Palmerino, Fioravante, Bruna, Gaetana and Sabino from Winnipeg and Italy. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws and friends to cherish his memory.

He was predeceased by his parents Palmina and Sabino. Sister Maria and brother Pellegrino. 

Carmine was born in Atripalda, Avellino Italy on January 22, 1948. He came to Canada at the tender age of 17 to start a new life. He was self-taught how to speak English and do various trades. Eventually his career passion was welding, a trade he loved until his retirement.

He found great joy in the simple things life offered. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking and sausage making. He had many great memories at the family cabin he built in Winnipeg Beach. Many years enjoying the company of family and friends, tending to his garden, cooking and working hard to make things perfect.

He beamed with happiness when he spent time playing and cuddling with his grandkids and the family he created.

Pallbearers will be Marcello Urciuoli, Marco Urciuoli, Gloria Urciuoli, Madison Martin, Jayden Rioux, And Trey Rioux.

His life will be remembered with a Mass of Christian Burial on September 14th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Holy Rosary Church-510 River Ave. with entombment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery Hwy#1 East at Navin Rd.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr.V.Gordon, HSC CancerCare and Autumnwood Medical and Pharmacist staff for their care, kindness and compassion.
