It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Abraham on August 31, 2019. Anna left us peacefully at the Health Sciences Women's Centre on Saturday afternoon after a lengthy illness.
Anna was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Frank Abraham in 2015.
Anna is survived by her sister Elizabeth Gross (Julius). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Susan Steding (Frank), Elizabeth Kaye (Gerard) and children, Julius Grosz (Eva), and Frank Gross. All who brought her great joy.
Anna was born in Hungary on September 17, 1940, where she grew up and worked. Anna emigrated to Canada in 1972 where she married Frank, the love of her life. Anna will truly be missed for her joyful spirit and endless kindness and love.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CancerCare. Family would like to thank the doctors and hospital staff at Women’s for their compassion and care given to Anna.
