NETTIE (ANASTASIA) PALUCK
(nee BAKUSKA)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, grandma, and great grandma on August 12, 2019, at the age of 87.

Nettie was predeceased by her husband Frank, mother Maria, father Simeon, brothers Michael and Harry, and sister Genya (Janet).

Left to cherish her memory are her sons David, Len (Heather), daughters Alice (Ainsley), Elaine (Richard), Caroline (Steven), and nine grandchildren Jonathon, Catherine, Matthew, Jeremy, Alarice and Arianna, Teresa, Paul and Rick. Nettie also had seven great grandchildren.

Mom was born on February 10, 1932. She attended school at St. Nicholas and Isaac Newton. She married Frank Paluck in 1951 and they raised 5 children. She worked part-time at various office jobs throughout the child-raising years and later worked at Earthworm Construction for many years until retirement. After dad retired they both enjoyed their time together being involved with the Seniors Club at St. Nicholas Parish, travelling, and enjoying many good times with family and friends.

Mom was a kind and caring person; always thinking of others. She had a good sense of humour and a friendly welcoming nature which included all the people and animals she came into contact with. She truly enjoyed her feline friends throughout her entire life.

A funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Friday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. (viewing prior to service). Father Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM will be officiating.
