Deirdre was my neighbour for nearly 20 years at the Co-op where she resided. She was one of the first people to move in after it had been modified from St. John's Church in the 1980's. She was an avid animal lover and she tried to rescue and rehome as many cats as she could. She was active on our Board of Directors at the Co-op and she would volunteer to help out with yard sales and handing out candy at the front door on Halloween. She was always friendly but often kept to herself. I will miss her smile.
