Obituary of PATRICIA ROSEMARIE CHAMBERS
PATRICIA ROSEMARIE CHAMBERS
JANUARY 17, 1970 – MAY 3, 2019
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Rosemarie Chambers on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre.
She will be profoundly missed by her son Kadeem, daughter Aisha, son Malik and her precious grand-daughters Nisa and Veida (born April 30th, 2019; whom she was able to hold). Her loss is also mourned by her mother, brothers and sisters, extended family and friends.
Patricia Rosemarie Chambers was born in Morant Bay, Jamaica on January 17, 1970 in Princess Margaret Hospital. After living in Jamaica, England, and Canada; she eventually settled in Canada with her three children and obtained her Canadian Citizenship. She attended Red River College where she completed the Health Care Aide program and worked as a health care aide for over 15 years.
Patricia will be forever remembered for her caring personality, kind heart and willingness to help. She loved to cook (curry chicken and rice n peas) and spent a lot of her weekends doing hair. She worked hard to provide for her three children and left them with life lessons and the tools to always keep moving even when times get hard. You could feel her infectious smile even through the phone and her sense of humor would lift you up when you were down. She would always analyse her dreams and if you were in them, she would call and tell you to be careful or you may be lucky today. Family was most important to her and she would do anything for hers and all who knew her were taken by her generosity and lifted up by her constant support.
In keeping with Patricia's wishes cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Friends and relatives are encouraged to write down a memory shared with Patricia that will be placed in a box at the memorial service.
