JOSEPH (JOE) CHERKA

Peacefully at home, Joseph (Joe) Cherka of Winnipeg, MB, passed away on April 30, 2019 at age 92.

Joe was born March 20, 1927 in Poland to Bruce and Antonino Cherka.  He was predeceased by his parents, 4 siblings: Stan, Mary, Olga, and John, and by his wife Anne (nee Pavlicko).

He is survived by his daughters, Karen (and Roy) Strewchuk, Christine Miller (and Brian Whittet), grandchildren Tiffany Louder, Krystal Strewchuk (and Rob Freeman), Christian Miller, Michelle Miller, and great-granddaughter Summer Strewchuk-Freeman.

A private funeral service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, one can donate to a cause of choice.

We are so thankful and lucky to have had such a wonderful man in our lives. We will miss him very much.
