Obituary of PETER KAMINSKY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Peter Kaminsky on April 1, 2019.
He is survived by his sisters Liz and Lucy (Ramkissoon), brother-in-law Ralph, nephew Reece and niece Rianne, as well as his Auntie Lena, cousins Ernest, Jerry, Irene, Eugene and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Julie Kaminsky.
Peter was born and raised in Winnipeg’s Point Douglas area, attending Norquay, Aberdeen and St. Johns High School. He was a kind man with simple and modest needs. Riding his bicycle all summer long gave him much joy and freedom, as well as a physical workout. He also liked to lift weights and was an avid football fan with loyalty to the Bombers.
For the past thirteen years he was a devoted volunteer at Holy Family Nursing Home, spending many happy hours there.
A celebration of his life with be held on Friday, May 10 at noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
May his memory be eternal.
