She is survived by her partner of many years David Stewart
Children: Cynthia (Jason) Donovan, Shelley, Colin (Jaylene) and Dante (Shelley)

She was born in Birch River November 9, 1957 and was a residential school survivor. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelors of Social Work Degree and worked in Child and Family Services and the indigenous community for 30+ years. She had a big beautiful heart and would always put others before herself. She was a loving and funny woman who could always put a smile on a person’s face because of her great sense of humour. Laughter was something she was known for. Elizabeth met her life partner David Stewart in Winnipeg and lived together for the past 31 years. Elizabeth was always there when you needed her. She will truly be missed and remembered by all who knew her.
A very special thanks to the Nursing Staff of Unit 3A at the Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care ward for their care and consideration.
