Obituary of SAMUEL JOSEPH MURRAY
SAMUEL JOSEPH MURRAY
We regret to announce the unexpected passing of Samuel Joseph Murray.
He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
Sam was born on Jan. 8 1976 in Winnipeg and sadly passed on April 4, 2019 at the age of 43.
He was predeceased by his mother Patricia, grandparents Helen and George and his aunt and Uncle Darlene and Daryl. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Whitney, Kayla, Asaviah and Melody as well as numerous family members and friends.
As we all know apart from his daughters, music was his heart and soul. We wanted to share a special verse from one of the many songs he wrote…
“And I’ve always followed my heart in life and I’ve always made it through alright.
Yeah, I’ve made it through alright, and I’ll be alright for another night.
No, you don’t have to worry about me cause I’ll be alright, just you wait and see and yeah I’ve made it through alright.”
A funeral will be held in his honour on Thursday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapels, 1442 Main St.
A celebration of life fundraiser will be held at the Brooklands Inn on Saturday, April 13 from 2 until 6 p.m., 6 Keewatin Street.
