RUDOLPH HORATIO POWELL

With great sadness the family of Rudolph Horatio Powell announces his passing at Grace Hospital on February 4, 2019 at the age of 72 years. 

Rudolph Horatio Powell was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica on September 19, 1946 to Verona Miller.  Rudy attended schooling in Jamaica as well as the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba.  Rudy came to Canada in 1969 and became a Canadian Citizen October 11, 1974.

He is survived by his partner Malvia Cummings; ex-wife Monica Powell, children Nadine Powell, Dayton Powell, Walter Powell, Sholley Powell, Valrie Powell, Travis Cummings, Deseree Cummings. Grand Children; Kaylee, Amelia, Avery, Malikai and Aaliyah

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the New Anointing Christian Fellowship Church, 1425 Manitoba Avenue.
