Obituary of MICHELE CAMMARATA

Michele Cammarata

It is with great sadness that the family of Michele Cammarata announces his passing on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 65 years. 

Michele will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years Dayle, his six children Jennifer (Mark), Donna (Randy), Christopher (Kayli), Michael, Christina (Michael), Daniel (Sarah), Stacey. His grandchildren, Reagan (Rob), Kaylee (Noah), Tyler, Leigha, Damion, Dwayne, Kyrian, Rochelle, Giacomo, Julian, Kinley, Addison and Ariston. His sister Maria Crupi (Filippo), Enza Maiorino (Liberato), brother Antonio Cammarata (Kittie), brother in-law Sebastiano Lao, and all the many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be fondly remembered for the love he had for his family, his loyalty to friends, and his ability to make anyone smile with his witty responses or his one of a kind sense of humor.

Michele was predeceased by his parents Giacomo and Giuseppina Cammarata, brother Francesco Cammarata, sister Grazia Lao and sister in-law Domenica Cammarata.

His life will be celebrated with mass on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, with viewing to start at 10:00 a.m. and reception to follow at Holy Rosary Church. 

Entombment to be held on, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Assumption Cemetery & Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Michele to CancerCare Manitoba.
