Obituary of JASON VICTOR HORODYNSKI

JASON HORODYNSKI

March 26, 1977 - March 22, 2019

Peacefully, with his family by his side, Jason passed away on March 22, 2019, at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 41 years after a courageous battle with cancer.

His memory will be forever cherished by his son Chase, Chase’s mom Lesley, his mother Donna; his sister Jeannette (Robert) Duguay; brother Justin and nephews Joshua and Kieran.  As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

He was predeceased by his father Victor Horodynski in 2004.  Jason was born March 26, 1977 a day he happily shared with his grand-father.  Jason adored his son Chase and would light up when he saw his son.  He loved spending precious times with Chase kissing, cuddling and playing games together. 

A special heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff on E3 at the Riverview Health Centre and the staff on GD-4 at HSC for their exceptional care and compassion. He did not walk this painful journey alone as his hands were held tight by many. For the millions of kindnesses the family is eternally gratefully.

Jason you followed the light now you are at peace. We will always love you. Death ends a life, not a relationship. You will live on in our hearts.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue.  Interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery.
