Obituary of DEBBIE LEE GORAY
DEBBIE LEE GORAY
March 15, 1960 - February 5, 2019
After a life-long and courageous battle with MS, with her loved ones at her side, Debbie was called into the arms of Jesus.
In spite of all the challenges Debbie faced over the years, she always maintained her ability to face life with optimism, faith, humour and a deep concern for others who she felt were less fortunate than herself.
Debbie is survived by her sisters, Shirley, Susie (Bruce) Shearer, Sandra (Kerry) Sampson; brothers, Dan (Heidi), David and Thomas (Marsha); nieces and nephews, Jordan and Phillip Hakeem; Lisa, David and Thomas Shearer; Caley and Sara Goray; Tyler, Terrence and Taylor Sampson; her great-niece Laila-Mae and great-nephews, Michael and Casey, as well as her best friend since childhood, Gaye Letkeman.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents, John and Dorothy Goray and her beloved auntie Mary Pachkowski.
Thank you to Debbie's Calvary Place family for the excellent care and love provided to her.
Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Poirier officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dan, David and Thomas Goray and Kerry, Tyler and Terrence Sampson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Smile Canada, one of Debbie's favourite charities at: https://www.operationsmile.org/
