Obituary of LORISSA ASHLEY BROWNE
LORISSA ASHLEY BROWNE
December 24, 1990 – January 22, 2019
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter Lorissa on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at her home in Winnipeg.
Lorissa was predeceased by her brother Jimmy. Lorissa leaves behind her mother Lori, father Jim, and sister Rhianna as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Lorissa was her parent’s first child and grew up in East St. Paul. She loved to dance and took ballet and jazz. Music was one of her great loves and she loved to sing whether in a choir or with her friends when they got together. She loved her friends, they made her the happiest. Whether that was going out or sitting around, she truly loved to be with them. She loved the outdoors and had been enjoying our spot in Lac Du Bonnet with us as much as she could. She loved to snowboard and enjoyed trips to many mountains in Canada and the US. She also loved to escape to warmer destinations with friends or family.
After college Lorissa became a successful sales person. Her last full time position was Marketing Associate at Sysco.
A service will be held on Tuesday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1800 Day Street.
For the past few years Lorissa had been battling anxiety, depression, and alcoholism and sadly she lost her fight.
In lieu of flowers we would ask you to support the Canadian Mental Health Association in Winnipeg.
