Rest in Peace, Francis. My heart is heavy with the news of your passing and the grief of all who knew and loved you are feeling. I have so many precious memories of you Francis: your infectious smile, your sweet nature, your quirky sense of humour, and all the laughter we shared. I am lucky to have been your teacher. You were a part of a very special group of students in my life and I feel blessed to have known you. Ms O.

Our beloved Francis.. You have fought the longest battle most of us couldn’t have endured nor imagine ..
You stopped fighting doesn’t mean you lost the battle.. in fact God has rewarded you a pair of wings to join the angels in heaven for being kind, loving, understanding, patient and tolerant to others, and for being brave and to be able to endure your daily struggles.
So young at 15, You left us so soon with a hole in our hearts but We know you are tired.. so we are letting you go. Rest easy in heaven my dear nephew. We love you. We will miss you immensely..Someday ,Somewhere we will meet again ...

Our families are grieving because of our loss! Yes - Francis because you’ve been a huge part of our journey to live our lives and it so painful to accept that tonight would be our last glimpse “sa maamo mong mukha, huling gabing maaaninag namin ang mapanglaw mong mga mata na kahit nakapikit ay puno pa rin ng pagasa. Ang batang laging nakangiti at nakangisi na animoy walang dinaramdam na sakit at hirap sa paghinga. Mamimis ka namin ng todo dahil kapag inuutusan - sagot mo lang lagi ay opo, malinaw na ang iyong mabuti at batang puso ay maaliwalas pa at hindi marunong mag-reklamo. Pero salamat, salamat dahil naging bahagi ka ng aming mga karanasan na pupukaw sa aming mga puso at isipan na minsan may bata kaming magiging gabay para pahalagahan ang bawat sigundo ng buhay".
One thing is true – none of us knows how long our lifespan will be. We will try to enjoy today, will seek and see our families and give permission to be happy again everyday, because for sure – you would not want us to be miserable!
For now we would say goodbye to you Francis, but surely – you will always be in our hearts and memories! Basta tandaan mo, sa muli nating pagkikita - mag ca-camping uli tayo kasama ang buong pamilya. Enjoy your life in heaven!
