I had the pleasure of knowing Art through the Last Post Fund. He was a staunch supporter of the rights of Veteran’s and was opposed to bureaucratic processes, and he always brought a smile to my face when he voiced his concerns. Politically correctness was not easy for him but kindness was and even when frustrated by the “National Office” he showed extreme patience. He was a great comrade and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Board with him. We shall remember him!!!
