Krystal, I am so stunned! I thought of your Mom often, in fact just yesterday. She was such a driving force, and was an important part of our Grooming community. Val was a beautiful person, inside and out. Immaculately groomed, just like her clients!

Val will always hold a special place in my heart. She was an amazing woman and with a deep and profound insight on life, she offered me good advice throughout the years. I will never forget and always hold close all the memories we all shared back in the “beauty” days ! I shared many holiday dinners at the Larsen household and it quickly became a second home for me. There are just too many memories and many good times I will fondly look back upon. The world will not be the same without you Val and I sure as hell will miss you with all my heart. We all love you and will miss you incredibly!

Val.. my heart is broken. You were my go to person whenever something was wrong in my life, you always gave me the best advice. Your death leaves a big gap that cannot be filled. I remember the first time I met you, I was your shampoo girl at C. C. and you were my idol. I wanted to be just like you. Our lives were intertwined from that day forward. Our group of girls from our waitressing days is getting smaller with Norma gone last year and now you. I will always remember how kind you were to my mother when I couldn’t be there for her, you were her surrogate daughter and rock... You took the time to talk to her and do her hair. I was so grateful for that. You were one of a kind... not to be messed with! You gave me strength with your words of wisdom. I will truly miss you. Xoxo
