LIDUINA DO ESPIRITO SANTO MELO OLIVEIRA RAULINO

1953 - 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Liduina Raulino on December 10, 2018 at the age of 65.  

Liduina was predeceased by her husband of 45 years Virginio Raulino and her parents Joao and Liduina Oliveira.

Left to mourn her are her son Paulo (Sonya), granddaughters Alyssa and Ashley, her sister Rosa (Laurindo), nephew Nelson (Diana), niece Ana (Raul) and extended family in Portugal, the United States and Canada.

Liduina was born in Sao Miguel, Acores on July 13, 1953.  In July of 1973 she married her love Virginio in their home town of Lagoa, Sao Miguel and soon after moved to Winnipeg to begin their new life together. Liduina loved spending time with her family and friend especially her granddaughters who were the light of her life.

Prayers will be held Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 19 at 10: a.m. also at the church.  Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery 3990 Portage Avenue West.
