Obituary of NORMA NOGA

NORMA NOGA (NEE JEAVONS) Norma passed away on September 27, 2012 at River East Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her parents May and Arthur, and her husband Andrew. Left to cherish her memory are her five children Linda (Tom) Golden, Terry (Roger) Dupuis, Arthur Noga, Kim (Keith) Odger, and Donna (Steve) Hamilton. Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren Shelley, Greg (Ricki), Sharon (Lothar), Michelle (Cory), Cheryl (Mike), Amber. Austin. Brittany (Dylan). Matthew, Kyle and Kelsey; great-grandchildren Cassandra, Tyson, Kaitlyn, Danton, Kianne, Corey, Ella, Brendan, Dylan, Mackenzie, Jenna, Kaitlyn and Jude. Norma was born on August 3, 1925 in Birmingham, England. She met her husband Andrew, a Canadian soldier recovering from wounds suffered during World War II, in the hospital in Birmingham where she was a volunteer. Norma came to Canada in 1948 and she and Andrew raised their five children in the Weston area. Norma retired in 1990 after working for Weston Bakeries for 20 years. Norma loved to knit, read and travel. She was able to return home to England several times as well as trips to Hawaii, Mexico and France. In keeping with Norma's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment at Brookside Cemetery will follow at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the River East Personal Care Home. She was so well loved and cared for and the support given to us during this difficult time was truly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norma may be made to River East Personal Care Home, 1375 Molson St., Winnipeg, MB. R2K4K8.
