November 13, 1953 - November 26, 2018

Peacefully on Monday November 26, 2018 Maria Madalena Maria passed away at St Boniface Hospital with her beloved mother Rosa by her side.

Maria is predeceased by her father Jose Joao Maria in 2001.

She leaves to mourn her partner of 35 years Jan, her mother Rosa, brother Victor (Bev), brother John (Pat), nephews  and nieces: Michael (Robyn), Manuel (Helder), Gary (Jackie), Mitchel (Jamie), Amanda (Ken), Matthew, Jesse (Robyn), Shawn, Jeremy (Joy), Jonny (Eva) and numerous great nieces and Nephews and a Great-Great Niece. She also leaves Aunts, Cousins and close friends.

Maria’s family express sincere gratitude to the Doctor’s and Staff at Cancer Care Manitoba for their compassion and care, especially Dr. Signh and Nurse Nicole for making Maria comfortable during her treatments.

Celebration of Maria’s life will be on Saturday December 1^st at 10:00am at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.

Cremation followed by interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba in Maria’s memory.
