Obituary of PATRICIA HELENA BEAVIS
Patricia Helena Beavis
December 10, 1923 - November 18, 2018
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Patricia on November 18, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in February 2016.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her children Marilyn (James) Barbara (Hubert) Donald (Pauline) Maureen (Rodney), grandchildren Ryan, Eric, Patrick, Zachary, Bradley (Jody) Nikkol (Michael) Karly (Jaysin) Monique (Paul) Miranda (Kevin) Sean (Jordan) great grandchildren Landen, Lucas, Nathanael, and Brody. She is survived by her sister in law Joan and brother in law Archie, nieces and nephews.
Patricia was born in Port Arthur Ontario. Mom and Dad married on May 11,1949 and moved to Winnipeg in 1957. Prior to starting their family Mom enjoyed and was very proud of her career as an X-Ray Technician. While raising her family Mom spent many hours volunteering with her church and her community. Mom loved caring for her family always making sure no one left her home without something to eat or drink. Even during her last days of being cared for she insisted we have a candy or cookie treat to offer the nurses and aides.
The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation for Mom’s care to Dr. Andrea Babick and staff at St. Joseph’s Residence.
Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish 710 Roanoke on Friday November 23, viewing at 10:30 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Transcona Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to L’Arche Winnipeg 118 Regent Ave. E. Winnipeg R2C 0C1.
