Obituary of AIMEE KRISTENE CARPIO

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Aimee "Kim" Carpio last November 16, 2018 at Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Aimee was 33 years old at the time of her passing. 

Aimee is survived by his parents, Edison and Radilla; her 3 sisters Criselle, Camille and Charmaine; and her nieces Enika and Francielle and nephew Jiemil. 

Aimee was born on August 21, 1985 at Manila Philippines. She finished Bachelor in Music at the Conservatory of Music in University of San Agustin at Iloilo City, Philippines and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Gabriel College at Kalibo, Aklan Philippines. Aimee is a nurse by profession and was a staff nurse of a year at St. Gabriel Hospital in Aklan Philippines. She also was a clinical instructor of care givers for 6 months at San Lorenzo College in Aklan Philippines. After her teaching, she became one of the members of Spanish Red Cross as a team leader in finance, helping the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. 

Aimee immigrated to Canada last November of 2016. She worked as a Child support worker at Robertson Early Enrichment Program in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her love for kids drove her to do good in her job and perform her duties and responsibilities well. 

Aimee loves to sing. She was a former member of a reggae band in her college days. She was often invited to sing and perform in corporate events, shows and momentous occasions or even just in a karaoke sing along. She is a loving daughter, a caring sister and a beautiful person inside and out who is always positive in life and will go beyond her limits just to lend a hand.
