STEVEN DARRYL HOULE (King of the Sky) August 1977 - September 2012 With deepest sadness the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and daddy on September 13, 2012 in Edmonton. Steve is survived by his parents, Mark and Deb (The Pas) and his daughter, Karen. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Debbie and stepsons, Dustin and James (Edmonton), special Uncle Barney (Kelly in Calgary), Auntie Dana, special friends Melissa and Alex, great-grandmother Marge Smith, grandmother Marleen Houle (Winnipeg), aunts and uncles from Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, Gertie and Bill, Allan and Kathy, Phyllis, Wendell, Manny, Roselyn, Joe and Drew (British Columbia) and families; Lawrence and Gayle, Kelly and Joan, Kim, Reuben and Paul, Dana and John, Roberta, Lorna and families, numerous relatives and friends from: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Hawaii, California, Dominican Republic and New Zealand. Steve was a loyal, trusting and loving son, daddy, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steve was predeceased by his great-grandfather Sydney Smith, grandmother Marie (Sinclair-Genaille) grandfathers Rod Genaille, Reuben Houle Sr., Stanley Sinclair, Jack Houston and numerous relatives. According to Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tina Leveque officiating and a private service will be held at a later date. Coffee, tea and dainties will be served following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to his daughter Karen's trust fund at the following: Miss Karen Houle - Trust Fund, c/o Scotia Bank (The Pas, MB).
