Obituary of ELIZABETH THOROSKI
ELIZABETH THOROSKI (NEE SAVINKOFF)
March 1, 1932 to November 3, 2018
On November 3, 2018 Elizabeth (Beth) Thoroski passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital. She is survived by daughters Linda (Alan), Brenda (Stephen), Nancy and Cindy (Mike), nine grandchildren (Jason, Hayley, Freddy, Todd, Sheila, Chelsey, Russell, Katya and Alex) and three great-grandchildren (Dylan, Daniel and Maddie).
Elizabeth was the last of her clan, pre-deceased by parents Melanya and Peter Savinkoff and siblings Peter, John, Winnie, Anne, Mary (Joy), Gloria and Freddie. She was also pre-deceased by her loving husband, Walter Thoroski.
She will be fondly and lovingly remembered for her love of dance, music, gardening, soup-making, family history keeping, her dedication to family and her warm, generous heart.
A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday – December 16 at East End Community Centre (517 Pandora Avenue East, upper hall) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This will be happy occasion where all will share in stories, videos, displays of photos, dance and music – all the things that Elizabeth loved most.
All friends and family are welcome to come out and share our fond memories of Elizabeth. Children are especially welcome, as Elizabeth prized the company of our family’s little ones and loved to share in their infectious energy. Please come out and join in this celebration of our beloved mother, gramma, great-gramma, aunty and friend.
Those planning to attend Elizabeth’s celebration of life, please RSVP with Cynthia Thoroski at krywys@highspeedcrow.ca
