I was very sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. One of the original four anaesthesia operating room assistants, she will be fondly remembered by all anaesthesiologists and nurses in the Winnipeg operating room community. Her skill as an Intravenous Therapy nurse is unsurpassed! She will also be remembered as “the social butterfly” of the department, arranging many lunches and events for us all. Barb approached each day with humour and enthusiasm, and was liked by all!
