Upon her retirement, due to failing health, she resided in the Monastery's infirmary until her move to St. Joseph's Residence.

She is survived by her brothers, Reverend Rudy Nowakowski O.M.I.(Toronto), Michael (Iris) of Winnipeg, Larry (Rita) of St. David's, Ontario, two nieces, great nieces and nephew and great great niece, many cousins, and the members of the monastic community.
