Obituary of ELEANOR GRYWINSKI

Eleanor Grywinski (nee Torsky)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Baba), great Grandmother, sister and Aunt on August 20, 2018.

Mom was predeceased by our dad Walter (1972), parents Anastasia and Nicholas, sisters Irene (Bill), Kay, nephew Glen and companion John Melnichuk.

Surviving her are her loving children Danny (Gorete) and Donna, grandchildren Melissa (Adan) Tamara, Joey, Samantha, Brett (Janina) and Darcy.  Great grandchildren Tesa, Nyshell, Lydie, Elliot, Layla and Amelia, sister Olga (George), and brother in law Bill Solomon, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended Grywinski and Melnichuk families near and far.

The love and closeness of family was very important to mom, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much joy. She loved to cook and bake for family get togethers and dinners for as long as she could. Our thanks to her doctors for many years of care and a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Holy Family St John’s unit for the love and compassion they showed in their care for Mom.

In compliance with Mom’s wishes, a private family service was held with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery.

If so desired, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
