Lystra, Mohinder, Leon and Sangeeta Kauldher posted a condolence Sunday September 2, 2018 Our condolences go out to Myiah ( Pete), Dave, Steve, and their brothers and sisters, their spouses, children, grandchildren and the many others whom “Ma” touched significantly. We are sorry about the loss of such a beautiful lady. We had the pleasure of meeting Ma when Myiah and Pete introduced us to her ~1990. Within a year we found out that we were “ pumpkin vine” family when my mom visited us that summer from NS. Since then she has been the loving “Ma” to my family and friends. Her beauty, strength, wisdom, faith, many talents, warm hospitality and pleasant demeanour emanated in every phone call or visit we had over the years. I have learned a lot from Ma... literally. She had a humorous way of “tagging a saying” or articulating her point of view with her own Trini expressions. Most were spontaneous and usually followed by a good laugh. I loved every minute of my time with Ma. One visit in particular stands out as the most unusual of coincidences at a get together at my house.... the day she met one of her childhood neighbours after about 70 years. It was such a tearful moment of exuberance that my other guests were speechless! Ma will be dearly missed especially during my visits to Winnipeg. It is comforting to know I had a wonderful visit with her just two days before she passed on, so that day and countless other memories will be my treasured reflections of Ma...a true inspiration to us all. We met Mrs. Babulal some 15 years ago and we enjoyed our many visits with conversations about friends and family. Mrs. Babulal was very proud of her children’s success and was always curious about our own family. Her home cooking and treats were favourites in our home. We were proud to have known such an energetic and kind woman. Our sincere condolences to her family. Shawna and Ian Hasanally

Our tribute to a wonderful gem that touched my life and that of my children and grandchildren. Agnes was the childhood friend of my mother.from Cedros Trinidad. From Agnes I heard the stories of my mother’s youth and discovered the history of my extended family. Agnes was the most generous kind,and thoughtful person one could every meet.Agnes always had good advice which had patience and forgiveness as it’s conerstone. I will miss her voice on the phone at the end of our conversations saying “ love you babe” “god bless you and them children”.

Sorry for Lost of our Dearest and Last Original Ganness and Aunt who will always be remembered. She played a very important part in our lives from our very young and tender age. I know all your siblings, parents, husband and others all waiting to have a big celebration. Tanty had a great life and must be happy she really never suffered. May she grant us all mostly her immediate family the strength to keep going. May her memories continue to live with us all. RIP and one day we shall all meet again. LOVE U. Debra.
