Obituary of BOB (ROBERT) DONNELLY

Bob (Robert) Donnelly

February 4, 1960 – August 4, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Ernest Anthony Donnelly, known to many as Bob, on August 4^th, 2018 at the age of 58 while vacationing with family at his cabin.

Bob will be deeply missed by his wife of 26 years, Kathy; his two children Sean and Allyson; his father James, “Jim” (Audrey); his brother Dan (Thelma); his three sisters Allanna (Peter); Susan (Barry); and Carol ( Paul); Step-Sisters Judy(Clarence), Jo-Ann(Tim), Janice and Jackie and his four-legged napping buddy Lacy; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends. Bob was predeceased by his mother Jeanine and his sister Joanne.

Bob was an accomplished Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Technologist, having obtained his Journeyman Redseal Electrician of Canada and Master Electrician of Ontario. He built his HVAC business BARCOL Controls into a thriving entity that is respected by many. Aside from his business Bob enjoyed building cars, listening to the blues, and watching his favourite Steve McQueen movies. Bob was a distinguished handyman and consistently demonstrated his ability to fix what was broken. His hard work and caring nature will be forever cherished.

A very special thank you to the O.P.P. of Sioux Lookout, Ontario and the staff at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre. We would like to extend our appreciation to our family and friends for their comfort and support at this time.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Bob’s honor on Saturday, August 18^th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private interment to follow at a later date.
