Peacefully at the age of 78 Brian was called home with his family at his side.
Brian will be fondly remembered by his wife Josephine of 57 years; Son Randy (Anna) Daughter, Cindy (Richard) Grandson Chad (Katie) Great Grand-children Brody and Austin, Twin sister Barb (Lorne) of Irma, AB. Along with extended family in Winnipeg, Alberta, BC, and the USA.

Brian grew up in St Vital. Once married, lived his life in the North End where he was known as “Gunner”. He was our beloved Husband, Dad, Grampy who made the world a better place. Brian was an active member of St John Cantius church participating in many ministries.
Having family and friends around always brought great joy to Dad. Always laughing and joking around, he really was a Big Kid at heart…Always lived Life to the Fullest. His love of Sports had him coaching Legion 141 Baseball and spending many hours at the hockey rink with the Kildonan North Stars as Time Keeper. Volunteering his time at numerous hockey tournaments and was the gate keeper of the penalty box, which was known as “Gunner’s Sin Bin”. A true Sports Enthusiast.
Dad Worked at Franks Automotive, Eastern Sales, Fort Ignition and retiring at Napa Auto Parts in 2002.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Clendenin, Nurses, and Health Care Aids at Concordia Hospital, for their compassion and care during Dads final days with us.
