Obituary of ODELIA HEATHER
Odelia (Tillie) Heather
Mom passed away peacefully on May 29th, her 93rd birthday. She will always have a huge place in our hearts. Although mom, gramma and great-gramma is dearly missed already, we rejoice with her as she is now reunited with her husband Ralph and an infant son. She is survived by her children Faye, Sharon (Dennis), Diane (Clayton), Dale (Randy), Harvey (Jill), Shirley, Jan (Lawrence), Milt (Kristy) and Kevin (Kerry), 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandsons.
Mom rejoiced in seeing her family and friends anytime, her door was always open, the kettle on. She loved the time spent with her dear friends playing cards, visiting tea houses and going out for lunch. Church was a very important part in her life. She was a woman of great faith.
A celebration of mom's life will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave.
We will be eternally grateful for the care shown to mom by her home care workers while she was in her apartment and by all the staff of Grace Hospice who treated our mom as if she were their own.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Grace Hospice, Schizophrenia Society or charity of your choice should you so desire.
