DONALD (DONNY) THOMAS FETTERMAN

January 6, 1961 – May 10, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Fetterman. After a short battle with a very aggressive esophageal cancer, he passed away peacefully at Health Science Center.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Agnes Fetterman; grandparents, Fred and Jane Fetterman; and his uncle Bill Fetterman.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Christine Fetterman. His children, Rachel (Alain) and Ben; and grandchildren, Brody and Mara-Jade. His siblings, Diane (Denis), Fred (Pam), Carol (Raymond), Jack (Lisa) and Dennis; and many nieces and nephews. As well as his “adopted children” Randy, Christie, Nicole, and “adopted grandson” Donovan.

Don lived in Winnipeg with his family, but was raised on the family farm in Gross Isle. It is there that he learned about hard work and obtained an amazing work ethic. That carried on throughout his life, as he worked hard to raise his family the best he could. It was also very apparent in his career as well. He will be missed by many friends and family.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
