Obituary of HELEN STEFAN

HELEN STEFAN On Monday, September 3, 2012, Helen passed away at the Kildonan Personal Care Home at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn her brother Emil of Harrison Township, Michigan, and many nephews, nieces and friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband Emil in March 1992. Also, Helen was predeceased by brothers Edward, Adolphe, Leopold, Cajetan & Rudy and sisters Stella and Bronie. Helen was born in Romania on August 2, 1920. Emil and Helen were married on January 1, 1949 and settled in Timmins, Ontario where they owned and operated a hotel. In 1990, they retired and moved to Winnipeg. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 14 at 2:00 PM at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Viewing will take place beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Holy Family Cemetery with a reception to follow. Special thanks to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for their care and support.
