BORIS ROMAN FEDYSHYN

July 29, 1951  -  April 3, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and great friend Boris Fedyshyn at the age of 66.

He was predeceased by his father John, sister Laresa and great nephew Cooper. 

He leaves his mother Paula, sisters Monica, Gloria, Patricia, Nadia, Elizabeth (Ernie), Irene (Jim), Dorothy, Linda (George) in Germany, and his brother Les, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish his memory.

 Boris was born in Winnipeg and spent most of his life living here.  He loved his cars and his dogs, and had a keen eye for photography.  Boris was kind and caring and would always help anyone in need.  He loved and cared deeply about his nieces and nephews and treasured any time spent with them.  Boris will be sadly missed but forever loved and adored by his family and friends.

Thank you to Dr. Wong and the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for taking such good care of Boris.  Also, thank you to the compassionate staff in the Palliative Care Unit 3 East at Riverview Health Centre for letting Boris live his final days with dignity. 

As per Boris’ wishes, there will be a private service for his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare or the Winnipeg Humane Society in Boris’ name.
