We are so sad to hear of Brenda’s passing and our condolences go out to David, Jeff, Jennifer and families. We first met Brenda on her cross Canada hitching hiking trip with David. I think it was 1968 or 1967. Our family was impressed with Brenda’s truly down to earth attitude coupled with her sense of adventure and personal strength. Hitch hiking back then was a lot more common but crossing Canada on the Trans Canada Highway in the summer was no easy feat and we knew David had found a special partner when he introduced us to Brenda when staying with us in Regina. Brenda’s bubbly personality and infectious laugh was something we always remembered and it’s her legacy to her family and all who knew her. Hoping your grief is short and happy memories with Brenda are with you forever. Love Darrell and the Madill Family

Dear Dave and family,
My deepest condolences at the loss of your dear Brenda. It was such a shock to hear of her passing. I saw her not too long ago and we shared our grief of the passing of our dear friend Jean.
I have many good memories of our time at Victory School. She was a great asset to the school in her care of the special needs children.
I probably cannot attend her funeral due to circumstances but wish you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time
Deepest sympathy, Janet Hilderman

Condolences to the Martin family on your loss. My memories of Brenda are from the time that I spent at your home many years ago....I was in Winnipeg on a medical trip and Brenda and I toured some of the stores in Winnipeg..... I remember thinking how tough or strong willed she was....a person that I certainly would not want to have upset at me....... knowing that Brenda would certainly express herself if needed.......enjoyed my time that i spent with Brenda....Brenda will certainly will be missed......RIP Brenda

Just expressing our thoughts to husband David, brother Bill and their families in regard to the passing of Brenda, the matriarch of the Martin family. Brenda was a great lady who enjoyed life and great love of her husband, children, grand children & great grand children.Brenda would write us every Christmas to keep us to date on family events. She was so proud of her family, the success they have achieved in life. Brenda and I had some memorable moments together when we were kids living in Winnipeg. One memorable moment concerned Bill.at our home. Bill wanted a haircut, so Brenda & I volunteered our services and proceeded to cut Bill's curly hair. Aunt Stephanie was to say the least not empressed. We were not on the good list to say the least Anyway that was just one of many memorable moments we had together. Brenda will be sorely missed by us all. Rip Brenda you are finally at peace. Love Terry & Darlene Palmer & family.
