EDWARD DAVID SAMUEL SWEREDA

1956-2018

Sadly on March 23, 2018, Edward Swereda, born January 28, 1956 passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was 62 years of age.

Edward was predeceased by his eldest son, Christopher, his mother Nellie Twerdun, his father Stanley Joseph, and his brothers, Bob and John. He was also predeceased by grandchildren Austin, Jason C. and Hayden.  

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine. Also mourning his passing is his daughter; Maryann (Chris) and sons; Michael and Joshua (Kim), as well as grandchildren; Sydney, Joshua, KC, Kohen, Jaxson, Kinsley and Kavin.  He is also survived by siblings, Melvin (Monica), Stan (Rose, deceased), Gordon (Christine, deceased), and sister Maryann (Jake, deceased). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Edward was born in Geraldton, Ontario. It was when he moved to Belleville Ontario that is where he met his loving wife, Catherine.  His hobbies were watching NHL Hockey, Major League Baseball, entertaining his grandchildren, going out for coffee and going for car rides. But the most important thing to him was spending time with his family and friends. Edward was a courier driver, earning the nickname, “FastEddy56”.
